A lot of players will be using Bank for the first time, so here's a helpful guide to get you started:

Of course, you need to download Pokemon Bank and or Poke Transporter (to save Pokemon from games older than "Pokémon X" and "Y"). Go to the eShop from the 3DS main menu and use the search field. If you already have the apps and just need the updates, it’s a bit of a longer rocess.

"Pokemon Sun and Moon": players banned from game

Meanwhile, almost 6,000 "Pokemon Sun and Moon" players were banned from using the Global link, per Polygon. In an announcement on the Japanese Global Link page, The Pokemon Company validated that players with illegal save data have been restriicted from going online. A total of 5,954 players have been caught cheating so far.

What should players do to not be banned? Easy, don't use hacks, mods, or other means to alter items and trainer information. It is not yet clear which specific cheats are getting players banned and if those who received hacked Pokemon were also penalized.

The sanction for cheating is a permanent ban from taking part in global missions, rating battles and competitions. Affected players will get an error code when they try to connect to the internet and use these features. These actions only goes to show that The Pokemon Company does not tolerate the playing of "Pokemon Sun and Moon", as well as the other Pokemon games other than how they were intended.

Are you a "Pokemon Sun and Moon" player? Have you tried using the 3DS bank before? Also, do you know someone who has banned?
