Head To Head With Galaxy A9 Pro
Samsung Galaxy C5 Pro, Samsung's upcoming mid-ranger, recently showed up at the benchmarking site Geekbench. With the codename Samsung SMC5010, it reveals major specifications that will lead its own competition. Meaning, it carries almost the same features as a superiors Samsung smartphone but at a cheaper price.
Although the Galaxy C5 Pro pricing hasn't been revealed, earlier speculations point to north of $340, GSM Arena reported. But this speculation may hit close home especially because Galaxy C7 Pro is priced at $400 north. This appearance is not the first time that the phone has appeared to tease the market but the specs and features revealed during the previous surfacing at GFXBench coincides with the specifications revealed at Geekbench.
Moreover, the specifications in Galaxy C5 Pro can go head-to-head with the same brand's Galaxy A9 Pro. The general details reveal that Galaxy C5 Pro only contains half of what Galaxy A9 Pro has. Nevertheless, it will have an edge because it's cheaper than Galaxy A9 Pro.
Full Specs Revealed
The Samsung Galaxy C5 Pro is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 and features a 4GB RAM. Moreover, Android 6.0 Marshmallow will come out of the box, which is a slight disappointment considering more and more Androids now carry the Android Nougat update. But it will get Samsung's custom UI, Android Headlines reported.
It also boasts of the 5.1 inch super AMOLED display with a resolution of 1080 x 1920 pixels. It is touch screen, of course and will respond to multi-touch. The back camera is 16-megapizel while the fron camera is 8-megapixel like the Galaxy A9 Pro.
It already received TENAA Certification and Wi-Fi Alliance Certification. It's basically cleared for rollout and the giant South Korea-based company will launch it on the first week of March 2017 the soonest.
