Samsung is set for Galaxy S8 launch in the near future and here's the detail!

Galaxy S8 to Feature DeX Station

Tech crowds must have been familiar with a technology called Continuum in Windows 10 Mobile. This feature will apparently hit Samsung Galaxy S8 with a different name.

The DeX Station is said to be a dedicated docking station that enables a phone to connect to monitor even without the availability of USB Type C.

DeX, is application software, according to Samsung's trademark filing, which can work to project the screen of a mobile phone to external displays, GSM Arena has learned.

From the description, it's safe to argue that the unique feature is similar to Continuum but with a different OS working in it. If the leak is to be believed, Galaxy S8 will be able to support desktop workstation - making it an impressive high-end smartphone for work and play.

It is unclear whether the accessory will be sold separately or included with the purchase.

Additionally, Galaxy S8 will likely come with 'infinity display' without any physical home button. Familiar source told Guardian that the upcoming premium flagship will be getting a bigger screen with edge-to-edge display, that will cover the majority of the front panel.

The informant went on to say that the screen will get bigger and there's not even space left to put a logo on the front.

Galaxy S8 Release Date

Samsung will skip MWC 2017 event and it is expected to launch Galaxy S8 on March 29 before the flagship will go on sale in April, Softpedia reported.

Galaxy S8 will be powered by Snapdragon 835 chipset with 6GB of RAM expected on board.
