Dell announced two models in the company's 2-in-1 device family, Latitude 11 and Latitude 13. How do they compare to iPad Pro and Surface Pro?

Dell Latitude 11 and Latitude 13 Specs

The hybrid laptop for student packs 7th gen Intel Celeron. It's ergonomic by nature and durable as well. As a convertible laptop, Latitude 11 is an 11-inch device that can be folded into a tablet. Designed for education laptop, the device has Productivity Active Pen as stylus.

The Latitude 13 is a 13.3-inch hybrid laptop with a minimalist and sleek design. It's got spill and scratch resistant exterior with either 6th or 7th Gen Intel Celeron under the hood, according to MSPowerUser.

Previously, Dell's convertible laptop, Latitude 12, outs to take on Surface Pro. Its detachable keyboard and folding style work perfectly for business-centric people.

This time, Dell's latest hybrid laptop addition is designed for students. As a reminder, the upcoming 10.5-inch iPad Pro is said to aim at educational sector - which means that both could face a head-to-head competition once Apple's tablet is launched in March.

Additionally, Microsoft is planning for a Surface Pro 5 with launch expected in 2H 2017. While there are only rumors without legitimate information to corroborate, it is safe to argue that Latitude 11 is ahead of the rest in bringing to life - the actual products for education and business.

Dell Latitude 11 and Latitude 13 Price and Release Date

Both educational laptops will be available beginning Feb. 7. The convertible Latitude 11 will be priced at $579 whilst the low-tier will sell for $349. As for Latitude 13, the price will start at $519, Engadget reported.
