The mid-range smartphone Huawei P8 Lite (2017) is making the buzz online as reports circulating of its cheap purchase price of only £185. Unfortunately, the device won't be available for purchase online but it will make its debut in Europe early February through major carrier Vodafone.

Huawei P8 Lite, which packs an octa-core Kirin 655 processor, will be available first in the United Kingdom on Feb. 1, Phone Arena reported. It is ripe for pick up to customers via Vodafone's brick and mortar stores. It will cost £185 on pay-as-you-go, or £16 a month on contract.

It can be recalled that Huawei P8 Lite received good feedbacks from users stating that it left them wanting for more. Most users also expressed how the device enables to offer them what they really need, GS Marena reported.

Huawei P8 Lite 2017 version sports EMUI 5.0 on board with 3GB of RAM, 16GB of on board storage. It also has a 3,000mAh battery, a fingerprint reader, and a 5.2-inch 1080p IPS display.

The device comes with dual SIM and 4G LTE support and runs Android 7.0 Nougat. Sources added that connectivity-wise, it packs both 35.mm audio jack. One thing amiss of the device is that its USB 2.0 port is not USB Type-C.

Undeniably, few people were surprised of Huawei P8 Lite 2017 cheap price as it has impressive specifications, Android Central has learned. Its 12MP rear camera with PDAF ( phased detection autofocus) with f/2.2 aperture and LED flash, as well as an 8-megapixel front camera for selfies are expected to deliver an improved experience over the decent quality of its predecessor P8 Lite photos.

Reviews about the device projected that P8 Lite 2017 will apparently not make it to the upper league given the RAM and internal memory storage although it is more in the high-end region.
