It seems like the popular cellular phone maker from the 90's is slowly getting back on track this year when its newly released smartphone has reportedly sold-out millions of units in China in just a matter of minutes and is sneaking out in the Philippines. Could this be a sign that Nokia 6 is heading on for its global release? Read more details here!

Nokia Stands Up after Lumia Series Disaster

The popular Finnish phone make company has proven again that failure is an opportunity to thrive more and innovate. With their latest Nokia 6 smartphone, the phone maker from the 90's has showed the world that they have overcome the havoc brought by the Lumia series disaster a couple of years ago.

The site JD.com was built for the consumers who wanted to have pre-orders for Nokia 6. Surprisingly, the site reached for about one million registrations and the first flash sale of the phone has gone out of stock within 60 seconds despite the fact that it comes with a higher price compared to rival devices according to The Indian Express.

Nokia 6 is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 processor coupled with 4GB of RAM and 64GB storage expandable up to 128GB via microSD. The device's 5.5-inch full HD screen display is protected with Gorilla Glass Protection and sports a 16MP camera and 8MP front camera; smartphone runs Android 7.0 Nougat and powered by 3000 mAh battery.

Nokia 6 is Sold-Out Outside China

The second flash sale is slated in February 26 where another millions of consumers are waiting for the phone online. However, chances will go to the consumers in the Philippines through a major online retailer called Lazada selling Nokia 6 at $374 and managed to secure a white color variant that was not unveiled during its launching according to Phone Arena.

The recent availability of the phone outside China is said to be an indication that Nokia 6 is heading towards its global release. And it seems to coincide with the statement of Nokia's partner HMD Global that they will be revealing more of Nokia handsets during the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona Spain.
