Blu Vivo XL2 gets a set of decent upgrades from its predecessor. Check out the details!

1. Affordable

The 2017 will see premium flagships like Galaxy S8 or iPhone 8 - which costs a fortune. Blu Vivo XL2 does not go above $200 - instead, the feature-packed handset is being offered at $100 for limited time according to Phone Arena. The unlocked version sells for $149.99 on Amazon.

2. Dual SIM

The hybrid Blu Vivo XL2 will enable user to separate work and personal life or add an extra 64 GB space to the 32 GB native storage.

3. Decent battery and RAM

The Vivo XL2 packs 3,150 mAh battery which is more than enough for moderate usage. It's got 3 GB of RAM on board with MediaTek MT6737T powering the device. There's also quick-charging feature capable of charging up to 30 percent in 30 minutes, according to Digital Trends.

4. Good camera

It's nothing like the Pixel's optics with OIS but Blu Vivo XL2 manages to capture decently with its 13 MP sensor on the rear and 8 MP on the front. For a phone under $200, the image results are okay for social media posts as they come with PDAF and HDR mode.

5. Great design

Blu Vivo XL2 is an all-plastic smartphone but it surprisingly solid and sleek with the small bezels. The handset's exterior is aesthetically pleasing and would be still be ideal for 2017 smartphone.

Specs and design-wise, Blu Vivo XL2 is still far from the Lenovo-built Moto G series or Xiaomi's Note family but the upgrades are considerably taking the flagship to a better direction.

As of this moment, Blu Vivo XL2 comes with Android Marshmallow pre-installed and it's unknown whether the device will be updated to Android Nougat.
