‘Uncharted: The Lost Legacy’ Latest Update: ‘Uncharted: The Lost Legacy’ Reportedly Will Stand Out Among The Rest Of The Series [VIDEO]
ByThe new upcoming DLC expansion pack of the "Uncharted" franchise, dubbed as the "Uncharted: The Lost Legacy," is confirmed to have a different tone than the main series. The video game company, Naughty Dog, hopes that the upcoming game will stand out among the rest of the game series.
In an interview with creative director Shaun Escayg, he confirmed that despite the fact that the upcoming DLC expansion pack will still be in context with the action-adventure third-person shooter platform game, the "Uncharted: The Lost Legacy" video game will be tonally different. Creative director Escayg remarks that India is the perfect setting for the new DLC expansion pack, according to Power Up Gaming.
The setting of The Lost Legacy DLC expansion gives off a lot of good iconography with its strange deities and hidden temples, which certainly gives a number of avenues for the game developers to play off. Also, game director Kurt Margenau confirmed that the core gameplay experience of the new "Uncharted" DLC expansion will deviate from the fourth installment, nonetheless, details are still vague at the moment.
Margenau also stated that while they don't want to give away too much regarding the game, the gameplay of the "Uncharted: The Lost Legacy" is something they are excited at, especially that the game will be a contrast between a rural setting and an urban setting.
Meanwhile, there are rumors of another DLC pack for the "Uncharted 4" that will feature Nathan Drake's brother Sam as he gets his own story. Beyond everything, the game gathered an immense amount of success within its first year of release, thus, it is expected for the game to get more DLCs in the future, Game Rant reported.
That being the case, the "Uncharted: The Lost Legacy" is slated to roll out within 2017 and exclusively for PlayStation 4.
