Android 7.0 Nougat update will rollout to HTC 10

HTC is joining the others for a Nougat treat. The company announced that Android Nougat update for its premium flagship HTC 10 is rolled out to European countries. Express has learned that the latest firmware upgrade can be received OTA once it is publicly available.

HTC 10 is the company's high-end smartphone with 5.2-inch display and a whopping 4 GB RAM. With the Nougat rollout, this could indicate that HTC is ready to release the flagship iteration, HTC 11, which rumored to be out at MWC 2017 event.

Previously, Nougat has rolled out to LG G5, Galaxy S7 and Moto Z China. The latest OS version is supposedly received by Zenfone 3 Philippines but it is postponed for an undisclosed reason.

Android Nougat update for Samsung

Meanwhile, Galaxy S6 series will likely receive the update soon after Trusted Reviews reported that the device running Android Nougat has obtained Wi-Fi certification. There will be a few series of Samsung phones confirmed to get the latest Android OS, including, Galaxy Tab A, Galaxy A3 and Galaxy Note 5.

Android Nougat update for Motorola

Previous report suggests that Moto G4 and G4 Plus will be up next to taste the Nougat. Android Police wrote that a few Moto G4 devices received the system updates using the source code found at Github. That being the case, it is safe to assume that the update release for the said handsets remain imminent.
