'Kingdom Hearts HD I.5 + II.5 ReMIX' News: Japan Pre-Orders Skyrocketed As 'Kingdom Hearts 2.8 HD Final Chapter Prologue' Was Released

As "Kingdom Hearts 2.8 HD Final Chapter Prologue" was released in Japan last January 12 and is well-received by "Kingdom Hearts" long-time fans and new fans alike, the pre-orders for the upcoming "Kingdom Hearts HD I.5 + II.5 ReMIX" has also skyrocketed to a whopping 130.20% as compared to previous weeks, as reported on Media Create's latest weekly statistics.
Further reported in detail by DualShockers, the release of "Final Chapter Prologue" was also considered to be a great start this year for the series - with it selling up to 86.31% or almost 138,000 copies on PlayStation 4 just a few days after its release, compared to "Kingdom Hearts HD I.5 ReMIX" that only sold up to 128,000 copies on its release week back in March 2013. What's more, the "Final Chapter Prologue" has also paved the way for more PS4 and even PS4 Pro consoles, about 47,000 units, being sold and ultimately, top Media Create's chart on most hardware units sold within a week.
For those who are new to this popular game franchise, the "Kingdom Hearts" series was first released 15 years ago by Square Enix and Disney. It is considered as a hybrid action role-playing game, with elements incorporated from "Final Fantasy" and various animations from Disney. Its latest version, the "Kingdom Hearts 2.8 HD Final Chapter Prologue", is set to be released today in the United States and Europe. Meanwhile, its upcoming version, the "Kingdom Hearts HD I.5 + II.5 ReMIX", is set to be released in early March in Japan and late March in the US and EU.
