Vivo has definitely pampered selfie lovers out there as it recently launched its new mid-range device V5 Plus highlighting its dual selfie camera. Reviews about the phone branded it as copycat of iPhone 7 as it somehow borrowed so much of the device's design.

The protruding camera lens of the device and its antenna bands on the top are all design traits from the iPhone 7, Indian Express reported. It also employs design cues and features of other flagship devices in the market today.

Vivo V5 Plus highlighted its amazing shots that for someone who takes a lot of selfies it would be a must have device. The source added that it does exactly what selfie lovers hoped a camera would do especially its 'bokeh' effect where it is a fun feature to play around with.

Further reviews revealed the noteworthy performance of its primary camera where it is noted to be extremely potent and can capture some stunning day time pictures. There is a richness to the colour of the images, which might sometimes feel a little out of balance - but otherwise unnoticeable, Indian Express added.

Those individuals who cannot afford to buy an iPhone 7 but wants to have an iPhone 7 look alike, writers suggest Vivo V5 Plus as the best choice. It may have a significant lower price but it never jeopardizes its superior performance.

The V5 Plus has an aluminum body with Corning Gorilla Glass 5, GSMarena reported. It sports Qualcomm 625 with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage. The front has a 5.5-inch 1080p IPS LCD with a 16 megapixel camera at the back while on the front highlights a dual camera setup consisting of a 20 megapixel main sensor.

A LED lamp on the front gives better shots for low light images when taking selfies. It runs on Funtouch OS 3.0 based on Android Marshmallow and powered by a 3160mAh battery with fast charging. Vivo V5 Plus will be available on Jan. 24.
