It has been more than 10 years ago since the first "Kingdom Hearts" game was released and now, it has definitely come a long way.

Just over a week ago, Square Enix officially released "Kingdom Hearts HD 2.8 Final Chapter Prologue" for PlayStation 4 in Japan. For those who are new to this game, "Kingdom Hearts" is a role-playing game first released by Square Enix and Disney back in 2002. Also considered as hybrid action, this game incorporates elements from both Final Fantasy and Disney's wide range of features and characters.

According to WWG, the latest version of the game proved to be "quite a playthrough for fans". Some elements of previous "Kingdom Hearts" versions were re-mastered and incorporated into the game, and now includes a reference to The Grid from "Tron: Legacy" (from Kingdom Hearts 3D: Dream Drop Distance), as well as a stunning cinematic (from Kingdom Hearts X Back Cover), and Aqua's perspective during her time at the Realm of Darkness (from Kingdom Hearts 0.2: Birth By Sleep).

Other fans of the series also pointed out that "Kingdom Hearts HD 2.8 Final Chapter Prologue" has a "satisfying gameplay" and is "re-mastered beautifully", according to TR. Aside from that, it is said to be quirky in a great way and traditional in terms of cartoon-style. There's also the fact that it goes deeper into the storyline of each and every game character, further encouraging players to never let a moment pass by without exploring every aspect of the game.

Furthermore, the "Kingdom Hearts HD 2.8 Final Chapter Prologue" is just the beginning. There will also be 2 new versions slated to be released this year, the "Kingdom Hearts 1.5" and "Kingdom Hearts 2.5", according to the same post by WWG mentioned above.
