"Crash Force" is now available on Steam Early Access. The multiplayer hovercraft arena shooter game is also coming to Windows PC and Xbox One a few months from now.

"Crash Force" became available on Steam Early Access beginning on Jan. 20. The game is an amalgamation of some gaming genres such as arena, shooting, online multiplayer, RPG and racing. Players function as living, class-based hovercraft to destroy enemies.

All hovercraft in "Crash Force" are uniquely made. They are armed with "a primary, fast paced, high in rate of fire, low damage weapon and a secondary low fire rate, high damage skill shot weapon."

Hovercrafts, which are equipped with a skill-set of four abilities, came from three different factions: the great and quick Aquilas, the masters of subterfuge or Cicumas and the scheming survivors called Clavae, GamersHell listed. The Early Steam Access version of "Crash Force" offers four hovercraft, but the game's full release has nine.

Players advance in "Crash Force" by leveling and skill tree systems. Level-ups gain skill points that unlock skills from a player's skill tree. Leveling up also gets tokens that can be used to unlock special skills.

Whenever a player gains 30 levels in "Crash Force," he/she will acquire an aviation point that unlocks a master attribute. This gains a distinctive ability and adds nodes to a skill tree's three branches.

During battles, hovercraft use various power-ups and abilities to best others in the playing field. Hovercrafts' energy lowers as they perform normal movements, turbo boosts and special abilities. That lost energy can be regained by passing over energy pads that can be found all throughout the game map.

The Steam Early Access version of "Crash Force" comes with bonuses. Those are early access skins, XP boosts, extra skill tree shot and skill reset tokens. Ascanio Entertainment, the game's Cyprus-based developer, will release "Crash Force" on Windows PC and Xbox One in April 2017, Polygon reported.

Like other games out there, "Crash Force" has different modes: Team Showdown, Capture the Flag and Control the Nest in player-vs-player configurations up to 6-v-6.
