Nintendo Switch Has its Own Unique Selling Point

Nintendo Switch has now been officially introduced to the public and is heading towards its unconventional release in March. According to Forbes, when the console was launched, it is considered as expensively odd that functions in three modes: handheld, traditional console and tabletop with kickstand; however, it has its own unique selling point that could possibly attract massive buyers.

For so many years now, Nintendo's console has been good at giving out the impression of family bonding and people's togetherness through its local multiplayer feature. For this reason, Nintendo has been called out for aggressively pushing forward the Switch motion controllers called Joy-Cons as the best part of the console where in fact they are not.

Nintendo Switch Deviates from the Path of Wii U

The same scenario was happened with Wii U when Nintendo failed to communicate to the gaming public what's so special about the console. And to be able to market the Nintendo Switch well, the company is expected to emphasize the console's strength the local multiplayer that is under-utilized by its rival PS4 and Xbox One.

Moreover, another edge of Nintendo Switch among rivals is users can create up to eight accounts and will have an access to eShop region of the country that corresponds to their account. But Nintendo has not confirmed about connecting existing accounts to Switch, inclusion of achievement system and Virtual Control purchases.

On the other hand, what's seemingly most ideal about Nintendo Switch is to be launched with cheaper motion controllers, Mario Kart, Smart Bros. and Netflix. However, according to The Verge, Nintendo Switch will not be launched with Netflix or other streaming apps.
