Pokemon Go usually has updates every two weeks and players, also known as Pokemon trainers have been waiting for the latest from their favorite game. Here's the current Pokemon Go issues and upgrades that you need to know.

Log in error

According to GameSpot, a current error being addressed by Niantic is a server issue, causing a log in error. The company's Twitter page acknowledged the issue with a post, saying that they are working on a fix and will be sharing an update after the matter is settled.

New gym and pokestops

In othe news, a new gym and hear this, 17 new pokestops have been added for players in Davos, Switzerland. Per The Verge, unlike past collaborations with companies like Starbucks and Sprint, the additions are included in a campaign to raise awareness for different global-change initiatives.

Davos is home to the World Economic Forum, wherein international politicians, business leaders, and others examine worldwide issues. So now, the people of Davos will find their sideline as pokémon trainers, intervened by reminders of the world's real troubles. Titles include No poverty, Zero hunger, and Quality education.

The new locations are in cooperation with Niantic, The Pokemon Company International, and Project Everyone. The partnership has an objective to underscore the Global Goals campaign, an agreement between 193 world leaders on 17 goals to end poverty in all forms, as well as fight inequalities and discuss climate change by 2030.

The new pokestops represents various goals, including gender equality, quality education, climate action, and clean water. In addition, the new gym's location is at the Congress Centre. According to Niantic founder John Hanke, the initiative comes from the developers' desire for Pokemon Go to be a force of good in the world.

New gen

Meanwhile, a new patch is expected to arrive for Pokemon Go. Forbes reported that a Gen 2 update is coming on March 21, the first day of spring. The source added that hopefully, the additions will be a full-blown mixture of brand new creatures, waiting to be caught in the wild, as oppsed to the very few ones that came with the earlier patch.
