Samsung Galaxy S8 And Samsung Galaxy S8 Plus Update: Galaxy S8, S8 Plus Leaked Price And Release Date [VIDEO]
ByThe rumors and leaks of the Samsung Galaxy S8 and S8 Plus have become more frequent as the launch of the handset comes closer. The latest leak about the Galaxy S8 and S8 hints the price and release date. The specifications and images of the upcoming Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8 Plus have leaked multiple times so far.
Twitter tipster Ricciolo claims that Little bird has told him that the Samsung Galaxy S8 is now ready. The Samsung Galaxy S8 will be unveiled to a select audience (which includes journalists) at the MWC 2017 event. Tech fans will have to wait until March 29 for the official launch of the Samsung Galaxy S8. The Samsung Galaxy S8 along with its bigger sibling Galaxy S8 Plus is said to be released in late April.
Ricciolo also said in the tweet that Samsung has set the Galaxy S8 price at EUR 849 (roughly $906), making it more expensive compared to last year's premium Galaxy S7 Edge variant. The larger Samsung Galaxy S8 Plus will be priced at a whopping EUR 949 (roughly $1,012). This is in line with previous rumors that the South Korean tech giant will price the two upcoming devices a little higher than the 2016 flagships.
Nevertheless, it has been said that the Samsung Galaxy S8 will sport a 5.7-inch or 5.2-inch display, either of which would be bigger than the 5.1-inch screen of Galaxy S7, Pocket-Lint reported.
Meanwhile, the Galaxy S8 Plus, which is the bigger version, is supposed to offer the same overall design, as well as the same speaker placement and bottom ports. The Samsung Galaxy S8 Plus should measure about 152.38 x 77.61 x 7.940. That would make the Galaxy S8 Plus slightly taller and wider than the Galaxy S7 edge, according to BGR.
