'Super Mario Odyssey' Recreated With 'GTA IV' Physics; Miyamoto Shares More Details About New 'Mario' Game On Switch [VIDEO]

That being said, the announcement made by Nintendo regarding its console along with the games have people buzzed in on the upcoming "Super Mario Odyssey" game. As such, one YouTuber has uploaded a parody of the game using the equally iconic "GTA IV" game and its physics. In other news, the game's director has shared to these same fans a few more details regarding the latest "Mario" game coming to Switch, according to sources.
It was previously reported that Nintendo's unveiling of the Switch worldwide via livestream events have also announced the games that would be released along with it, University Herald noted. It was stated therein that games like "NBA 2k18," "Minecraft," and "Skyrim" will be released for the console along with its first-party games, such as the highly-anticipated "Super Mario Odyssey" game.
That being said, fans have been talking about the gameplay footage that they've witnessed when Nintendo unveiled the trailer for "Super Mario Odyssey" on the Nintendo Switch. As a result, it was recently reported that a YouTuber, who goes by the name of CrowbCat, has uploaded a video on his channel that shows Mario in the iconic Liberty City of "GTA IV," Polygon noted.
It was stated therein that the video is a parody of "Super Mario Odyssey" that was recreated by using "GTA IV" and its physics along with some other mods for the Windows PC version of the game. The video shows off Mario's physique in proportion to the humans in the game, and his acrobatic stunts that would succumb to the realistic physics and gravity of the game.
In other news, the game's director, Shigeru Miyamoto, has shared to fans that "Super Mario Odyssey" will be focusing more on the the core gamer, IGN reported. He said that they are now looking to return to a more exploration-based gameplay with the new installment, more specifically going back to the roots of "Mario Sunshine."
