ZTE has a unique way in bringing the hardware specs to its latest flagship smartphone, ZTE Hawkeye. It has initiated a poll where consumers from 176 countries can suggest what features to add to the handset. Now that everything is set, ZTE finally reveals the smartphone's full specifications.

ZTE Hawkeye Specs Revealed

The world's first crowdsourced smartphone packs 5.5-inch display and runs Android Nougat out of the box. It has a decent battery, 3,000 mAh capacity, with 3 GB RAM in tow and 32 GB internal storage.

ZTE Hawkeye is powered by Snapdragon 625 and features NFC, fingerprint sensor, and Quick Charge 2.0, according to Digital Trends.

ZTE Hawkeye Features

The crowdsourced phone has a lot to offer. One of the useful features is the Eye-Tracking technology that allows the handset to recognize the eyes' movement and scroll the page automatically based on that. It's got self-adhesive case to mount the phone to any surface. These features are taking customers to a whole new experience in using a smartphone.

ZTE Hawkeye hardware setups remind us of Redmi Note 4. Both mid-rangers pack the same SoC and RAM space. The Hawkeye, however, wins on the optics department with its dual-lens camera module. Its rear camera offers 13 MP and 12 MP combo.

Redmi Note 4, on the other hand, excels in battery department with a massive 4,100 mAh capacity.

As far as the camera is concerned, Hawkeye is able to produce iPhone 7-like images with bokeh effect given its dual-lens, optical zoom and OIS. Selfie addicts can expect great photos shot from the 8MP front-facing camera.

ZTE Hawkeye has a more attractive price with only $199 but potential buyers can only obtain the handset from Kickstarter website.
