Fans Get First Glimpse of ‘The Defenders’; Claire Temple Serves as TV Series Nick Fury
ByFans finally got a glimpse of Charlie Cox's Daredevil, Krysten Ritter's Jessica Jones, Mike Colter's Luke Cage, and Finn Jones' Iron Fist in Marvel crossover TV series "The Defenders." Images of Sigourney Weaver as the villain were even revealed too. Meanwhile, Rosario Dawson's Claire Temple will stand as the Nick Fury of Netflix's Marvel TV series.

The new images Marvel recently released shows Rachael Taylor's Trish Walker and Jessica Jones together, while another image shows Iron Fist overpower some opponent, Slash Film reported. Meanwhile, Charlie Cox hinted that Matt Murdok is reluctant in taking up the role of vigilante after everything that happened in "Daredevil Season 2." Krysten Ritter also talked about Jessica Jones who seems to be baffled with the fact that everyone suddenly needs her help.
Mike Colter confirmed that Luke Cage won't stay too long in prison after being brought back to Seagate Prison in the first season of the unbreakable hero's own series. Iron Fist, who is one of the newest additions to the Marvel crossover TV show seems to be getting comfortable with the superhero title, said Finn Jones.
Fans will definitely see a mix of personalities and story arcs in the new "The Defenders" TV series. Reluctant Jessica Jones will be forced to work with three other men that she doesn't trust, even-tempered Luke Cage could easily be the "conciliator" of the team, the Iron Fist, who seems to know what's going on, could bring all four together.
Claire Temple is Marvel TV Series Version of Nick Fury
Claire Temple serves as the Nick Fury of the new Marvel TV series after appearing in all of the stand-alone shows, Entertainment reported. She helped treat Matt in "Daredevil," fought ninjas in "Jessica Jones," and saved Luke a few times in "Luke Cage." Colter said that Temple will see a lot more action in "The Defenders," as well as a bit of romance with Luke after sharing a kiss in "Luke Cage."
