Most fans and avid gamers alike would agree that the developers would normally continue releasing installments on their popular and critically acclaimed titles. However, it would seem that that is not the case with Valve regarding its plans on releasing a possible "Left 4 Dead 3." This time, however, it seems that the fans can ask Gabe Newell himself on what they intend to do with the franchise. As of now, one thing is certain when it comes to the idea of a "Left 4 Dead 3" and that is Turtle Rock will be focusing on a different IP, according to sources.

It was previously reported that popularity of the franchise has prompted fans to come up with their own list of things that they would want to see in a possible "Left 4 Dead 3" game, University Herald noted. It was stated therein that fans wanted to see a lot of new features, such as weapon mods, character customization, and a more expansive open world on the third installment.

That being said, fans will now have an opportunity to bring these all up to Gabe Newell himself who was reported to be doing a Reddit AMA interview soon, Gamerant reported. It was stated therein that, despite the probability that fans will focus on "Half-Life 3," discussions about "Left 4 Dead 3" might also be brought up by fans.

As such, these fans who have been clamoring for a "Left 4 Dead 3" over the past years should head on and log in to their Reddit accounts to chime in during Newell's Reddit AMA, which will start at 3pm PT/ 11pm GMT on the 17th of January.

In other news, fans who are expecting Turtle Rock Studios to be involved in developing a possible "Left 4 Dead 3" will be sad to know that the developers (who were known for developing the original L4D game and "Evolve") will be focusing on a different game altogether, PC Gamer noted. Although not much has been divulged, it was said that the game will have a "dark fantasy" feel to it, which will return to the hear-pounding moments of online co-op FPS action that the studio is known for.
