Android 7 Nougat Update for January: Huawei G9 Plus, Other Devices Reportedly Receive Update for January [VIDEO]

Huawei G9 Plus Starts Receiving Android 7 Nougat Update
The Chinese tech firm Huawei has reportedly started rolling out Android 7 Nougat to G9 Plus. According to GSM Arena, the beta recruiting has started in December 8th with first beta version released in December 16th, second beta version released in December 27th, first beta experience in January 11th and the rolling out in January 12th.
Accordingly, the update arrives as Build Number B330 and will only be available to handsets that run B150 and B159 builds. However, not all Huawei G9 Plus can receive the update since Huawei has only selected 300 units for the first phase of the rollout.
Other Huawei Handsets that Received Android 7 Nougat Update
Back in December, Huawei has announced their Nougat rollout plans which will begin in the first quarter of 2017. The Mate 8 and P9 have already started receiving the software updates ahead of their schedule whereas the Honor 5C has just received the update recently.
Furthermore, the most anticipated Android 7 Nougat update for Honor 8 is said to be imminent because of the beta testing that is currently on-going according to The Indian Express. Features like split-screen multi-tasking, quick reply and enhanced notification bundle are expected to arrive in Huawei Honor 8 alongside the software update.
In addition, Huawei Honor 8 is expected to include the machine learning capability called EMUI 5.0 that will analyze the user's behavior and thus, will bring an enhanced power management system which includes modes for power saving and enhanced security mechanisms.
