Moto G5 Plus image renders made its way online and they resemble the Moto X images that have been leaked last week. There also claims that those leaks are actually the Moto C. In the end, those rumors has been debunked by HelloMotoHK.

At press time, Motorola observers confirmed that neither these images of Moto X nor Moto C is actually the renders of Moto G5 Plus. The rumor started out in a Romanian online marketplace where a dealer tried to sell Moto G5 prototypes. According to Gadget360, aside from the images, there is also a listing which entails the specs of Moto G5 Plus.

As seen on the said listing, Moto G5 Plus will have the latest Android 7.0 Nougat update that has been arriving in Motorola phones this year. It will sport a 5.5-inch full HD display ((1080x1920 pixels). The device will be powered by SnapDragon 625 chipset partnered by a 4GB of RAM with 32GB of built-in storage 32GB of built-in storage. A fingerprint scanner also lands a place in the front below the display screen of new Moto G5 Plus, GSM Arena reported.

Moto G5 Plus is also a good choice for massive users with its powerful 3,080mAh battery. The camera of this model boasts a 13-megapixel rear camera coupled with a dual-LED flash. On the other hand, the selfies will be captured by a 5-megapixel snapper.

Moto G5 Plus actually fall short in comparison with the specs reportedly packed in Moto X. In addition, the Moto X code is actually Moto XT1685 making the rumor seem right. No official announcement has been released by Lenovo to address the said leaks. This lead Moto fans to look up to MWC 2017 for a further announcement or possible launch of the said phones.
