According to BGR, LG is among the first one to consider screen sizes for their smartphone when they started their G-series and for this reason, LG G6 will going to sport a 18:9 display ratio or 2:1 which also further revealed that the phone is likely to have an all-screen front side.

Both premium handsets are said to run Android 7 Nougat of the box. However, Samsung Galaxy S8 is said to be the more powerful between the two because of the smartphone will be equipped with Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor coupled with 6GB of RAM.

LG is reportedly taking conservative steps when it comes to LG G6 features. The phone is expected to features some innovations such as 2-in-1 camera that comes with iris sensor and a waterproof feature according to SlashGear.
On the other hand, Samsung Galaxy S8 is said to sport features such as fingerprint scanner, high-end camera, waterproof, dustproof and the most anticipated digital assistant Bixby which is akin to Amazon's Alexa, Siri of Apple and Google Assistant.

Samsung Galaxy S8 has still no confirmed release date as of now but rumors suggest that the South Korean tech company will release the phone sometime in April. On the other hand, LG is reportedly eyeing earlier launch for LG G6 that is likely to fall in March 18 in South Korea.
