There have been reports that the "Wonder Woman" standalone movie for 2017 will feature Ares, the God of War as the greatest opponent of wonder woman. Ares is actually the brother of Diana who happens to be one of the popular villains in "Wonder Woman" series, ComicBook reported. Although they are siblings, they have different views toward humankind. Ares plans to bring humanity down to its knees, while Diana, although she may have viewed humanity in a negative way, somehow sees something that had compelled her to do good to humankind.
There were also reports suggesting other villains including Danny Huston and Elena Anaya. Many believe that Danny Huston could pose a threat to the great heroine as he is the one overseeing the development of the poison gas while Anaya is working with Huston, CinemaBlend reported.
