ZTE, considered as the third most popular smartphone maker in the United Sates is preparing two new phones to be showcased to public again. Phone models Z986DL and Z986U, have just been recently certified by the Bluetooth Special Interest Group (SIG).

No additional details about the handsets have been revealed yet, however, given that they have started collecting necessary certifications, it expected that more details of the handsets will be revealed in the coming days or weeks, GS Marena reported. The company, which is the world's fourth largest mobile phone manufacturer, has already made several Android smartphones and tablets, which also received numerous praises and positive reviews.

The certification excites the tech industry since product offerings of the ZTE company are known for its reliability and affordability. It is worth noting that ZTE sells multiple phone across several carriers including MetroPCS, Boost Mobile, AT&T, and T-Mobile.

Owning a ZTE phone has various benefits, Reference reported. While phones are considerably less expensive than similar cellphones produced by competitors, ZTE phones still retain features such as large screens and strong basic functionality. The source added that a good example of it is the price and performance trade-offs offered by ZTE phones is the ZTE Max smartphone, which is among the largest phones or phablets on the market as of 2015.

It has a 5.7-inch display that compares will with offerings from industry leaders such as Samsung and Apple. The ZTE company is quietly becoming a force in the U.S. by selling good enough phones at low prices, Bloomberg reported.

In fact, the Chinese company's products are among the cheap phones of choice at three of the big four U.S. carriers namely Wal-Mart, Target, and Best Buy. Lixin Cheng, head of ZTE's US operations was humbled with the reception of their products in the U.S. market stating that ZTE has come from nowhere and now they have become a solid force to reckon with.

With these two new smartphones on the way, consumers could expect again cheaper phones without compromising quality.
