The video game company, Rockstar Games, has made it no secret that the upcoming open world western action-adventure game "Red Dead Redemption 2" rolls out sometime in the last quarter of 2017. But while the game publisher did not reveal the specific date, an online retailer may have pitched in a little piece of information.

The online British store, Littlewoods, is accepting pre-orders for the upcoming video game. But while most other retailers do not have a delivery date for the "Red Dead Redemption 2," the online British store does. The online store listed down an Oct. 2, 2017 as its delivery date. This could indicate that the video game itself will be up for grabs on the said date.

Nonetheless, the premature posting of the delivery date by the online British store could be a mistake or the retailer's estimate. Moreover, the release date of "Red Dead Redemption 2" coincides with the video game publisher's original statements.

It has been said that October will be a smart time for the video game company to unleash the action-adventure game. As 2017 will undoubtedly be a busy one for games, but October 2017 is not scheduled for any major release yet. Wherein, the upcoming "Red Dead Redemption 2" could be the main focus of the gaming universe for the month, RDR2 reported.

In addition, promotional material for the upcoming video game recently surfaced in a physical store in the UK. The materials, which included the "Red Dead Redemption 2" posters, indicated an Autumn 2017 release.

That being said, the game publisher has not provided further insight on the game, particularly in terms of "Red Dead Redemption 2" storyline or gameplay. Nevertheless, as the release date of the game draws nearer, it is expected that Rockstar Games will feed more information to the public.

"Red Dead Redemption 2" is slated for the PS4 and Xbox One.
