Motorola Moto Z and Moto Z Force have finally started receiving the much-awaited Android 7.0 Nougat update in China, which arrives as a build version NCC25.106-11. The much-anticipated Android 7.0 Nougat update comes around a month after the Motorola officially announced the global rollout. The update follows that of the Moto G4 and The Moto G4 Plus.
According to Android Soul, the new Android 7.0 Nougat is now releasing in China. GSM Arena claims that the Moto Z users are getting notifications for OTA update to Android Nougat.
The Android 7.0 Nougat brings in performance and stability improvements over Android Marshmallow version. The Doze mode gets much clever and smarter at this time, which makes the device go into sleep mode when not in use, thus improving battery life.
Graphics will also be receiving big changes in terms of performance with the new Vulkan API being integrated into Nougat. But the smartphone running Android Nougat will need to meet certain requirements in able to support the Vulkan API.
The update will allow Moto users to use the new advanced Doze feature such as split-screen multitasking along with quick switching among app. Users will also see a revamped notifications shade, fully redesigned Setting menu, and the ability to quickly reply to messages from the Notifications panel.
In addition, the update also makes the Moto Z compatible with Google's Android-powered Daydream VR platform, according to GSM Arena.

The Moto Z Play is also expected to receive the update very soon, Android Soul reported. As for the upcoming Motorola Android 7.1.1 update, the Moto X Style has been spotted running on Android 7.1.1 version on GFXbench. This means that the Android 7.1.1 update isn't far.
