Persona 5 has already been release in Japan and is coming soon in Europe and North America, presumably this April. The game will be available for PlayStation 3 and 4, however, fans who hope to experience this popular Japanese game on their PC or Switch will be disappointed. John Hardin, the America PR manager of Sega and Altus, has recently confirmed that there will be no "Persona 5" for PC or Switch.
PC or Swtich Platform
Hardin took to Twitter to officially announce that "Persona 5" will only be for PS3 and PS4, and that there are they have no plans to put these games on Nintendo Switch or PC, CrunchyRoll reported. He also announced that "Yakuza 0" will only be available for PS4.
There are some rumors that the reason they are not releasing it to other platforms is that the developers don't have enough time. Hardin's announcement finally clears the speculations on whether "Persona 5" will be available for PC or Switch, since a lot of fans have petitioning that the developers make a version of the game for those particular platforms.
However, he said he doesn't know anything about the box label, since that is a Sony thing. By labels he meant the "PS4 Console Exclusive" and "Only on PlayStation" written on the box. "Persona 5" doesn't have any labels on its packaging, while "Yakuza 0" has "PS4 Console Exclusive" label on its box, which could mean it might be released on PC.
New Release Date
"Persona 5" will officially be released in North America and Europe on April 4, this year, Gematsu reported. Meanwhile, "Yakuza 0" for PlayStation 4 will be launched on January 24, this year in Europe and North America.
"Persona 5" follows "Persona 4," but this latest installation is already the sixth part of the franchise. Reviews about "Persona 5" are very positive, especially among Japanese gamers.
