Dell's latest XPS 27 all-in-one takes the audio battle to the next level. It packs with the tremendous amount of audio power of up to 10 speakers. This is pure audio power at its extreme.
According to The Verge, The new Dell XPS 27 desktop comes with six front-facing speakers staring down users in which four of them covering the s mid and bass frequencies, plus a pair of dedicated tweeters in each corner along with a pair of passive radiators and two full-range speakers.
Dell's approach here seems to be different now.The company is taking another route, selling a complete all-in-one computer, without requiring users for another speaker for exemplary audio performance.
Dell XPS 27 New Audio System
Dell's new audio system was the result of a collaboration with Grammy award-winning music producer Jack Joseph Puig, which resulting in what the PC maker claims as "the best sound for an all-in-one PC." Clearly, it has the enough hardware muscles to claim that title, but Dell claims don't end here. The company also claims that the new XPS 27 is two times louder than Apple's 27-inch iMac and has about 10 times the bass power of HP's Envy 27.
The Impressive Hardware Specs
Beyond the number of speakers, the XPS 27's hardware specs are also quite impressive. It may not match the 27-inch Apple iMac or Microsoft Surface Studio in terms of look and design, but it's hardware packs a powerful devastating punch.
The massive audio chops will accompany a 17-inch 3,840 x 2,160 display with 100-percent Adobe RGB colorspace, available in both touch and non-touch configurations. Powering Dell's new all-in-one offering is a sixth generation Intel core i7-6700 or i5-6400 CPU.
Although Intel graphics comes built-in, but there's an optional AMD R9 M470X upgrade for a much extreme GPU. In addition, Dell has also promised a higher grade R9 M485X in the near future.
As we the storage option, the new Dell XPS 27 has also plenty of storage capacity on board. It has a 32GB of RAM and a whopping 2TB of HDD storage or 1TB of solid state storage.
In terms of connectivity, the Dell XPS 27 comes with a headphone jack, an SD card reader, an audio output, five USB 3.0 sockets, two USB-C ports, an HDMI port, and a Gigabit ethernet port.
