The full list of nominations for the GDC 2017 Choice Awards has been revealed with "Overwatch" and "Inside" showing up in more than one category. 2016 saw a lot of really good video games released and the GDC Choice Awards are a tribute to the best ones that came out.

"Overwatch", according to Game Rant, is nominated for Game of the Year, Best Audio, Best Design, Best Technology and Best Visual Art at the GDC 2017 Choice Awards. "Overwatch" is not the only game up for multiple nominations as "Inside" is nominated for Game of the Year, Best Audio, Best Design, Best Narrative, Best Visual Art and the Innovation Award.

Meanwhile, "Firewatch" has sold over 1 million copies according to GameSpot. It is up for several nominations at the GDC 2017 Choice Awards as well including Game of the Year, Best Debut, Best Narrative, Best Visual Art and the Innovation Award.

Nintendo continues to prove its excellence in game developing with several of its franchises getting nominations with three of them included in the Best Mobile/Handheld Game category. Those 3 games getting the well-deserved spotlight in the GDC 2017 Choice Awards are "Super Marion Run", "Pokemon Go" and "Pokemon Sun and Moon" with "Pokemon Go" also getting nominated for the Innovation Award and Best VR/AR Game.

The GDC 2017 Choice Awards will be held at the San Francisco Moscone Center on Mar. 1. The ceremonies will be hosted by Tim Schafer of Double Fine Productions.

The GDC 2017 Choice Awards is part of the 2017 Game Developers Conference and it will also hold other activities for those who are interested in the beginning of video games. An example would be a panel focused on Prompto from "Final Fantasy XV."
