Finally, real music for hardcore rock fans as Harmonix recently announced that it will be adding more Metal music in "Rock Band 4." Meanwhile, the game's new DLC released a week ago brought in new songs that rocked the New Year.
"More Metal Pack 01"
Harmonix announced in January 3 that it will bring "More Metal Pack 01" to its "Rock Band 4" through a post in the official "Rock Band" Twitter account. The three tracks that will be added to the pack are "Dead Memories" by Slipknot, "Trust" by Megadeath, and "The Stage" by Avenged Sevenfold. These tracks can be acquired for a price of $1.99 each, and the entire pack can be bought at $5.49.
Harmonix also announced other new songs that will be rolled out to "Rock Band 4" in January. These songs are "Hold the Line" by Toto, "Cheerleader (Felix Jaehn Remix)" by OMI, "Carry On Wayward Son" by Kansas, "Some Nights" by Fun, "(Don't Fear) The Reaper" by Blue Oyster Cult, "Swing, Swing" by The All-American Rejects, and "The Edge of Glory," "A-YO," and "Applause" by Lady Gaga.

The "New Years Eve 2016 Pack" was just right to rock the New Year celebrations. Each of the songs were sold at $1.99 each.
In another note, Harmonix recently resolved the licensing issues that hindered "Rock Band 4" players in Europe from importing songs from prior "Rock Band" games. The songs from the previous installments will be released one by one beginning January.
Songs from "Rock Band 2" will be available in January, the "AC/DC Live: Rock Band Track Pack" will be available in February, "Lego Rock Band" will roll out March, "Green Day: Rock Band" will be out on April, "Rock Band Blitz" will be available April, 20 free songs from "Rock Band 2" will be available May, and "Rock Band Track Pack Vol. 2" will also be on May.
