Moto X Force or commonly known as Moto Droid Turbo 2 has reportedly received its certification from Bluetooth SIG to run Android 7 Nougat but the question that lingers is the schedule of rolling out. Rumors suggest it should receive the update by the end of January or by the next month. See full details here!

Moto Droid Turbo 2 (Moto X Force) Approved to Run Android 7 Nougat

A documentation report from Bluetooth SIG reportedly shows the approval of the group to run Android 7 Nougat to Moto Droid Turbo 2 (Moto X Force) handset with model number XT1585. According to Phone Arena, this is already expected since the phone's predecessors Moto Z Force DROID and Moto Z Droid have already been updated to the latest beta program of Google.

Accordingly, Android 7 Nougat aims to bring new features to Moto Droid Turbo 2 handset and enhanced the existing ones. Features such as Doze where the apps are stopped running from the background at the phone's idle mode and Seamless Updates where a new build of Android will be automatically downloaded to the device are expected to land in the handset.

Furthermore, new Notification Controls are also expected to come with Android 7 Nougat update on Moto Droid Turbo 2 where the users are allowed to silence the future notifications as well as block them. On the other hand, ShatterShield technology, the feature where the handset is known for is also expected to have its refreshed version.

Motorola has started its phased Android 7 Nougat upgrade last October having Moto Z variants as the first ones to receive the update followed by Moto G4 and Moto G4 Plus. Moto X Pure Edition G3, Moto X Style, Moto X Play, Droid Maxx 2 and Nexus 6 are also included in the list of Motorola's eligible handsets to receive Android's latest beta program, according to The Indian Express.
