Moto X 2017: Specs and Design Leaked
A recent leak suggests Moto X 2017 design that looks similar to Moto Z, especially the camera bump. OnLeaks created a video of the renders and posted it on his Twitter account on Dec. 30 and it quickly garnered attention from the followers.
According to Android Authority, it hasn't been confirmed yet, whether the device will be a Moto X or another series of Moto handset.
However, one thing that viewers can be sure of, is that the CAD renders show no pins. This might mean that Moto X 2017 may not be a modular device. The device gets oval-shaped home button and fingerprint reader module located at the front panel.
It is probably safe to assume that Moto X 2017 will be an entry-level smartphone. Moto X 2017 will reportedly sport 5.2-inch display with dimensions of 150 x 73.8 x 8.4 mm. Since there is nothing impressive with its tech specs, a few of Moto fans are quite disappointed with the renders.
This is due to the fact that Moto X 2017 alleged video show big bezels and camera hump - which aren't exactly today's golden standard for a smartphone's build. Furthermore, the device will apparently support Micro USB instead of USB type C.
As a reminder, the recently-launched Lenovo-made Moto series was the Moto Mods - which has been a praiseworthy device so far. And the latest Moto leaks are unlikely to be a flagship phone like the Moto Z.
Moto X 2017 Release Date
The alleged Moto X 2017 handset is said to be unveiled at the CES 2017, according to Pocket-Lint.
