Bethesda vice president Peter Hines has slammed the Wedbush analyst Michael Pachter for predicting that "The Elder Scrolls 6" will be released sometime 2017. Hines sent out tweets that advised the Wedbush analyst to listen to official company press releases before making forecasts or predictions.
According to iDigital Times, Pachter's huge prediction involved the latest installment of the game is already in the development stage. Fans have quickly rode the hype train and made forecasts based on Pachter's prediction.
However, Pachter's recent prediction is far from true because the next game installment has not even entered the active development stage. Bethesda's Hines has also confirmed that the analysts forecast and rumors about TES 6 release date are false, claiming that Bethesda isn't working on TES 6 at this moment.
According to Express, "The Elder Scrolls 6" release date is not coming this year and that the studio has two other game projects on the table they want to work on before they get their hands on TES 6.
Bethesda won't rush any games in the market until it is fully satisfied with the game
Bethesda is a gaming studio that doesn't like to rush their games to the market without making any thorough analysis. Players do build a sense of trust with studios and Bethesda is one of the most player-trusted developers. It won't be releasing "The Elder Scrolls 6" in the market until they are fully satisfied with the game's overall performance and details.
Game engines are crucial tools and they are very important in game development. They form the main foundation of the game, where common game-related tasks come in, like rendering, physics and game input. This technology allows developers to focus more on adding the game's actual details, speeding up the development. Without the crucial technology like the game engines, gaming studios aren't able to bring their ideas to life.
Perhaps the single biggest reason behind the long, drawn-out game development process of "The Elder Scrolls 6" is that Bethesda is still busy developing the necessary technology needed to build the entire game.
Bethesda's Todd Howard made a statement recently that the next installment "The Elder Scrolls 6" will require some very good technology, hence, a significant amount of time for its development. He added that time is a luxury that Bethesda doesn't have right now.
Howard also mentioned earlier at E3 Live that Bethesda still working on a couple of game titles, so expect nothing new about Bethesda this year, and the 2017 release date for the much-anticipated game "The Elder Scrolls 6" is not happening.
