If you are looking forward to seeing your career soar in 2017, you must have a solid plan. Resolutions or game plans, career strategies or whatever you call it, these are the things you need to strictly and religiously adhere to in order for you to have a meaningful change this new year when it comes to your career.

In an article by the Forbes, Seth Godin's insightful blog '10 Questions for Work That Matters' shares some relevant questions you may need to ask yourself in order to be able to reflect on your work in 2016.

Here are also some more of the career resolutions you need to stick to so that you can make 2016 your best year for your career yet.

Look for opportunities to exercise even when working

You can be healthy and fit even if you are working, according to Hays. You career is not an excuse from achieving a healthier body. It does not mean that you have to squeeze in going to the gym in your busy day but get every chance you get to move your muscles and bones like walking a block going to your office, or taking the stairs instead of the elevators.

Take time to reflect on your blessings

Make it a habit to always reflect on the positive things that happened to you every single day. No matter how small they are, recognizing the good things will make you feel good. You can even keep a journal for you to be able to write them down.

Be diligent with work

Start your day right by creating a to-do list and setting your daily goals. Be productive by doing one task at a time instead of multi-tasking. Learn how to prioritize the urgent ones and eliminate the tasks that do not really provide the most value.
