"Dragon Ball Super" fans are now getting ready to get hyped with the upcoming "Universe Survival" saga, to be unleashed on February next year. The Saiyan promises a new and heart-stopping story to fans as the 12 universes of Dragon Ball come to a head.

It seems like Goku will also shaken up the cosmos as it promises fans on an action-packed story on the way, Comic Book reported. Intense as it may seem, fans are in for a universal battle between all the Gods of Destruction and Kaiō-shin assembling for an inter-universe martial arts competition.

Toei Animation confirmed that "Dragon Ball Super" will be kicking out the new arc adding a preview video of the story to the fans. The source added that Goku and the Omni-King will shake all of the universes and dubbed the competition as the tournament of power.

With the universal tournament coming in the way, the story also seemed to prove the beginning of universal destruction. It also thrills fans as to what could be the outcome of the team battles and what awaits the victors. Shunki Hashizume, producer of "Dragon Ball Super," pointed out that the new chapter the "Universe Survival Arc" presents a full-throttle story where Goku and the rest of the Universe 7 warriors form a team to take on a tournament between universes.

He added that the excitement is piling up for the new chapter since it does not only contain intense battles but nonstop appearances of elites in each universe. According to Digital Times, the latest promo is key visual that shows the strongest fighters of Universe 7 including Goku, Vegeta, Gohan, Krillin, Android 17, Android 18, Piccolo, Tenshinhan, Master Roshi, and Majin Buu as Universe 7's most powerful team.

Meanwhile, when the new arc debuts, Dragon Ball Super will be fitted with a new director. Kōhei Hatano, who has worked on previous episodes, will take charge of Dragon Ball Super when Morio Hatano exits the series, sources has learned.
