Samsung Kills Off Note Brand
To be able to scrap off Galaxy Note 7 from the people's mind, Samsung is reportedly killing off the brand to give way to the upcoming Galaxy S8 Plus which is said to be of resemblance to the demised handset. According to Forbes, Samsung is on its way to releasing a smartphone bigger than Note 7 but bezel-less akin to Xiaomi Mi Mix.
Accordingly, the line between Note and S brands is slowly disappearing. Now that the Note brand has already been tarnished by the debacle brought by Note 7, Forbes concluded that Samsung Galaxy S8 Plus will automatically be classified under the Note screen size category. For this reason, having Galaxy Note 8 is impossible.
