Recently, Samsung's high mid-range Android smartphones Galaxy C7 Pro has been spotted at TENAA, the Chinese regulatory authority, carrying the model number SM-C7010. After clearing the said regulation, the said handset has now received Wi-Fi certification from the Wi-Fi Alliance.

Sam Mobile reported that the Wi-Fi certification reports indicate that the Galaxy C7 Pro will be compatible with dual-band Wi-Fi a/b/g/n, which is the common 2.4GHz frequency, as well as 5.0GHz frequency and Wi-Fi Direct connectivity standards.

Aside from the Wi-Fi certification, the Galaxy C7 Pro has been cited earlier on various sites like GeekBench benchmarking website, Indian Import and Export website, Zauba and Antutu.

Specs-wise, the Galaxy C7 Pro is said to sport a large 5.7-inch Full HD Super AMOLED display with 1080X1920 resolution based on the TENAA listing. Following the listing, the phone is 156.5 mm tall, 77.2 mm wide and 7.0 mm thin, and it weighs 170 grams. It features a metal unibody with a unique antenna design.

The GFXBench listing indicated that the handset will be equipped with a 2.2 GHz octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 626 processor, coupled with the Adreno 506 GPU and 4GB RAM to handle graphics.

Along with the staggering 4GB of RAM, the device is rumored to come along with 32GB or 64GB of internal storage. In its optics department, the upcoming smartphone will pack a 16-megapixel camera for both the front and the back of the device with dual LED flash. The device will also be powered by a 3,300mAh battery.

According to The Mobile Indian, the phone will carry Android's 6.0.1 Marshmallow firmware, while image renders reveal its color variants, namely Gold, Pink and Dark Blue. Connectivity options of the device include dual SIM, 4G-LTE with VoLTE, Bluetooth 4.0, WiFi, GPS/A-GPS and a micro USB.

Earlier this year, Samsung introduced the lineup of smartphones to the Chinese market, which was the "Galaxy C" series. The upgraded versions of the Galaxy C5 and the Galaxy C7, called "Pro" versions, were later added as two new additions to the lineup.

Rumors suggest that Samsung has delayed the launch of the Galaxy C7 Pro, which will now be launched alongside the Galaxy C5 Pro, to early January of 2017 rather than the slated December 2016 release.
