Those planning to buy the all-new 2017 BMW 5 sedan series will no longer have to wait and track as to the pricing of each model as the company has recently announced its prices which start at $52, 195. The car is set to make its public debut in January at the North American International Auto Show in Detroit before it hits showrooms on Feb. 11.

According to Auto Blog, the 2017 BMW 530i will be available for $52, 195, BMW 540i for $57, 445 and the BMW 540i xDrive model for $59, 745. The source noted the $1,000 increase of each variant than the 2016 5 series model fitting since buyers will have a bit more standard in the equipment.

All 5 Series now include adaptive LED headlights, sports seats, active protection, fatigue and focus alert as well as and 18-inch double-spoke wheels and anthracite headliner. Reports added that the four-cylinder model gets an all-new engine with 8 additional ponies as well as a name change from 528i to 530i. Better improvement is also being done with the inline-six, which now gained 35 horsepower in its transformation from 535i to the new 540i.

BMW Blog reported that the all-new BMW 5 series has been entirely newly developed allowing for a significant weight loss of up to 137 lbs with the use of aluminum, magnesium, and high-strength steel. It also added to note the features like the Dynamic Damper Control with Adaptive Mode and Integral Active Steering, which are now compatible with xDrive.

Assistance Systems and Parking Assistance Systems are also part in the offering for the 2017 BMW 5 Series. It is worth noting that prices for the upcoming BMW 550i xDrive, BMW 530e and 530e xDrive iPerformance models have not been released yet as these models will not be available until spring.
