It was mentioned by the source that the renowned developer of "Devil May Cry" has released a press statement following their well-received unveiling of the highly-anticipated "Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite. The company told their fans that they will be focusing on reviving its dormant IPs and/or other series that have not received any new entries lately.
As such, these same fans have gone off to speculate that a "Devil May Cry 5" may be considered to be developed, as well. The fact that the previous "DmC" didn't fare well to most fans of the franchise, the source also stated that this could be enough of a reason for Capcom to actually consider developing a fifth installment to the franchise soon.
In addition to this, fans over at Reddit have also made their own speculations regarding the release date for "Devil May Cry 5." One user, who goes by the name of KevinLee487, has suggested that fans will be able to experience the game sometime late next year or in the early months of 2018.
The forum member also went on to suggest further that Capcom ought to focus on Vergil for "Devil May Cry 5," which the user pointed out as a crowd favorite who still doesn't have an in-depth story like that of Dante's. That being said, fans will have to wait even further for any official announcements by Capcom regarding a fifth installment.
