As the year wraps up with just a few days left, fans and avid gamers alike are busy browsing through numerous video game titles up for sale with Valve's Steam Winter Sale 2016. As such, these same fans can check out the top ten selling games during the said sale with discounts ranging from as high as 67 percent off in the list.

It was previously reported that the dates of Valve's upcoming Autumn and Steam Winter Sale this 2016 were leaked, University Herald noted. The initial speculations came from a tweet by a user who goes by the name of Iashman, who has supposedly learned the upcoming dates of Valve's remaining sales this year.

That being said, it would seem that it the report were accurate enough since Valve has already announced its Steam Winter Sale 2016, Polygon learned. The announcement also came with the company's first-ever Steam Awards.

It was stated therein that the Steam Winter 2016 Sale will run until 1 p.m. ET on Jan. 2 of 2017 that will include a wide range of discounts on a multitude of video game titles.

That being said, fans looking forward to the Steam Winter Sale 2016 can take a look at the top ten selling games right now via Steam's official webstore.

First on the list will be "Grand Theft Auto V" that is listed with a 50 percent off this Steam Winter 2016 Sale. It seems that this open-world action game by Rockstar Games is still raking in the sales as it sits atop of the top selling games.

Next would be the acclaimed first-person shooter game "DOOM," which has one of the highest discounts in the top ten selling games for the Steam Winter Sale 2016 at 67 percent off. The FPS game has garnered a lot of very positive reviews from Steam users since its May 13 2016 release.

As for the rest, fans can check out "The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt - Game of the Year Edition," "Planet Coaster," "Astronee," "Dark Souls III," "Fallout 4," "Counter-Strike: Global Offensive," "Dishonored 2," and "Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Siege" to round up the list of the Steam Winter Sale 2016.
