Ubisoft Massive Announces The Division Update Finally Available for PS4 with Pro Support
ByUbisoft Massive recently announced that its "The Division" Survival DLC is now downloadable to PlayStation 4. The game will also get an update that will offer support for PS4 Pro.
PS4 available
The game has been released exclusively for Xbox One and PC almost a month ago, The Tech 52 reported. Now, it is finally available for download for the PlayStation 4 users. The Survival DLC will have new 24-player multiplayer mode, but those with PC and Xbox One already know about this. This 24-player multiplayer mode is called the "Survival" mode.
The main protagonist in the game will be given a mission, along with 23 other players, to secure a particular cargo with antiviral drugs located in Manhattan. However, the chopper where the player is gets shot down, leaving him all alone to complete the mission. Once the antiviral drug is secured, the player should call in the helicopter that will rescue him.
Update with Pro Support
Some PlayStation 4 Pro fans were disappointed when "The Division" rolled out for PC and Xbox One users. Now, the update has support for PS4 Pro, which will get better visuals in certain aspects, Neurogadget reported. The patch will have the UI and menus render in its native 4K. But the game will still render at the original 1080p.
With these new features, players will notice that the reflections and the shadows will look better. However, there are some cases of Delta errors as reported by some gamers. But the developers are quick to resolve these issues.
Overall, the new update run smoothly on PS4 consoles. For players who already bought "The Division" game and have the "Season Pass," then they can download the new Survival expansion for free. Those who doesn't have the "Season Pass" will have to buy the DLC for $15.
