The video game company Inti Creates, stated that the "Azure Striker Gunvolt's" original video animation (OVA) was created in a way so that fans of both the original game and those who are experiencing the game for the first time can fully enjoy it. Nevertheless, "Azure Striker Gunvolt's" anime may not be released during the Winter of 2016.

The release of "Azure Striker Gunvolt" anime should not cause immense sadness among fans, as the video game company will release it on Jan. 2017. Inti Creates did not specify the reason for the anime's delay, however, the company only refers to the delay as caused by various circumstances. Still, the January release of the "Azure Striker Gunvolt" anime OVA still can qualify for the company's promised Winter release, Siliconera reported.

Months ago, the Inti Creates unleashed a trailer of the "Azure Striker Gunvolt" anime that gives fans a sneak peek at the characters of the action-platform game. Though the trailer did not elaborate on its power boots, cheats and instructions.

Nonetheless, the trailer of the "Azure Striker Gunvolt" OVA includes the staff behind the making of the anime. The staff includes director Yoshinori Odaka, writer Shigeru Murakoshi. Also, Masakazu Sunagawa is the animation supervisor, while the action animation director/animator is Kōdai Kawase, and Ryūta Nakahara is in-charge of the props design, Anime News Network reported.

In the blog site of Inti Creates, the video game company stated that they are aiming towards the release of the Gunvolt anime in Europe, Japan and North America in Jan. 2017, and it will be released through the Nintendo 3DS eShop.

Inti Creates company will keep doing what they can to make that happen. As soon as the video game company will have a specific release date, the company will share that information to its fans. The company hopes that its fans will enjoy the OVA when it rolls out.
