Following impressive success of Surface Pro 4 in 2015 and other remarkable devices with cutting-edge technology that in one way or another were emulated by other competing companies, Microsoft has yet again stoke the fires in the rumor mill with its upcoming Surface Pro 5. While it promises again features never before seen, it has also sustained and solidified the fact of it being the gold standard of Windows Tablet.

It is with this position that people are buzzing around and speculating of what Microsoft might offer again this time that would bring a surprising difference of Microsoft Surface Pro 5 from its predecessors. Rumors circulating that the tablet will see daylight until spring 2017, judging from numerous releases done by the company during the month of October like the Surface Pro 4 in October 2015 and the recent October launched of Surface Book i7, CNET has learned.

Microsoft Surface Pro 5 is such an anticipated tablet to date as its predecessors already use the latest and greatest sixth-generation Skylake Intel processors such as Core m3, Core i5 or Corei7, sources reported that for Surface Pro 5, a Kaby Lake Core i7 is seen to be used. According to Forbes, with Surface Pro 5, Microsoft will likely to match specifications the current Pro4 is having especially with its 16GB of RAM and up to a 1TB of storage.

The source added that assuming the new Surface Pro 5 ships with the Kaby Lake architecture, it could be pitched as being more powerful than Apple's latest range of MacBook and MacBook laptops. With the increased specifications of the Surface Pro 5, reports added that it can be a good avenue for the company to add leverage and prominence of the hardware as well as its Windows 10 operating system.

Among other things that consumers are also hankering about is the keyboard cover of Microsoft Surface devices, only this time they are expecting it to be attached in the Surface Pro 5, plus the upgraded touchscreen stylus, which has a nice upgrade with the current model. As a leading innovator of the tablet space, Microsoft indeed has never ceased to thrill its consumers, and surprise them they did.
