Google Home is shaping up its ecosystem as Sony announces that they will bring Google Assistant for full voice commands on Sony speakers and Android TVs. Is Google Home going to be better than Amazon Echo? Read more details here!

Google Home's Voice Commands

In the recent announcement, Sony has brought Google Assistant to Google Home to execute full voice-control commands to Sony speakers, Android TVs and any Chromecast connected devices. According to Engadget, users can now take advantage of this feature to video streaming and control music without the complications brought by the smart home set-up.

Accordingly, the said feature aims to fill-out the gap caused by the missing support from Google's personal assistant and smart hub. Now that all Chromecast built-in speakers and Android TVs can fully utilize the Google Assistant feature, users can voiced out their command to play music and the AI will automatically direct the audio to the speakers whichever they desired.

Furthermore, users can also use the voice-control in watching movies or TV series by setting out commands and the device will automatically route it to Android TV such as Bravia or the recent 4K HDR panels. Google Assistant is also useful most especially when users have multi-room audio set-ups through Google apps that has the capacity to group speakers together.

Google Assistant feature to Google Home is considered to be a great help to those users who are music enthusiast. It is worth mentioning that even before the digital assistant arrives to Google Home, users need to use their phone or tablet to play contents to their Sony speakers but now a simple talk to Google Home will do the thing according to 9 to 5 Google.
