What could be more annoying for a fan is the feeling of waiting for nothing. This would aptly describe "Mortal Kombat X" fans rooting for a long time the Kombat Pack 3 DLC but was left with no accord since reports circulating pinned to the fact that release of the much-anticipated pack will not happen anytime soon.

The itch to have the Kombat Pack 3 started with game developer Ed Boon, teased fans in a tweet about whether they prefer "Shaolin Monks 2," "Mortal Kombat 11," or "Kombat Pack 3," Event Hubs reported. Whatever might be the feedbacks received by developers through the tweet that seemed to fish what gamers would prefer to have first, it is somehow clear that MKX was never the choice.

Reports claimed that NetherRealm has indeed prioritized the "Injustice" sequel, which could be the reason why Kombat Pack 3 launch has been delayed. Although it seems like "Mortal Kombat X" had been tossed aside for the moment, Video Games Republic reported that it had greatly contributed to "Injustice 2" in terms of visuals as it uses the MKX's engine. There is no specific date yet as to the release of the game, which will be launched next year.

It is worth noting that for years, "Mortal Kombat X" made huge followers worldwide as it is considered one of the best fighting video games in the market today. Amidst news of Kombat Pack 3's nonexistence, gamers still speculate that should there be one it will include new characters like Sindel, Rain, Fujin, Noob Saibot, and Baraka.

Since it is now clear that a new game is coming soon maybe "Mortal Kombat X" fans may try to concede with the thought of forgetting a Kombat Pack 3 for a while and try the new "Injustice 2" game instead, who knows they might love it more than MKX.
