Georgia vs Auburn LIVE Radio Broadcast: Bulldogs and Tigers Renew Their Fierce SEC Rivalry in Top-25 Ranked Matchup
ByIt is well known in college football that the Georgia Bulldogs (25) and Auburn Tigers (7) do not like each other and Saturday, one of the game's best rivalries will be rekindled.
Auburn has gone from not winning a single game in the SEC last year to an impressive 5-1 in the conference, losing only to LSU. That loss is also their only one of a strong comeback season for the Tigers.

On the other hand, Georgia is hanging on in the top-25 rankings and will have to win to stay in. the Bulldogs are 4-2 in the SEC and 6-3 overall.
The Bulldogs have won six of the last seven meetings between the two, with Auburn's one win coming in the 2010 National Championship run lead by Cam Newton.
"From a personal standpoint, I have yet to beat Georgia," junior defensive tackle Gabe Wright told the school's official website. "There are a lot of guys who have yet to beat Georgia. Guys are more focused and locked in."
Auburn's quick turnaround has been due to a solid defense and an unrelenting attack on the ground. The Tigers are allowing an average of 20.4 points, while rushing for an average of 320 yards per game, third-best in the nation.
Georgia's defense has been far worse, allowing 28.8 points per game and only rushing for an average of 180.9. But Georgia's strength is not with defense and the run game, rather with their quarterback, Aaron Murray. The Georgia quarterback has lead the team to 297.7 passing yards per game and has thrown for 20 touchdowns, five interceptions and a total of 2,477 yards.
Auburn must contain Murray if they hope to win, while also eating up the clock with their brutal running attack. Georgia can win if they put up enough points to pressure Tigers' quarterback Nick Marshall to make crucial big plays late in the game. Marshall has thrown only eight touchdowns and five interceptions this season.
"It's going to be hard to keep them from reducing the yardage on third down and having that run-pass threat on third down," Georgia head coach Mark Richt said. "That's part of the reason why they're so successful - they have very few third-and-long situations unless there's a penalty... It really doesn't matter what we did in the past. It matters what we do Saturday, and hopefully we'll get them on the ground."
