The Nokia Z2 Plus pops up on the benchmarking site, Geekbench. This is the first time that tech fans are seeing a smartphone by this name leaked online.

The usual Geekbench listings just revealed some of the device's specs. Now, unlike some previous benchmark listings, the benchmarking site seems to unleash a rather well specified smartphone from Nokia's camp, Android Headlines reported.

With the rumored specs and features of the Nokia Z2 Plus circulating the internet, 2017 might bring new and old tech fans patronizing the smartphones of Nokia. The benchmarking site is somehow showing a high probability that the Nokia Z2 Plus is a high-end model with advanced functionality, according to Softpedia.

Although the tech giant has not officially confirmed the inclusion of Nokia Z2 Plus to the smartphones that they will launch in 2017, the smartphone has been gaining popularity. Based on the benchmark of the Nokia Z2 Plus, the device has a single core test score, and will run on a Qualcomm quad-core processor clocked at 1.77GHz. The Nokia Z2 Plus might also be available in 5.2 and 5.5-inch displays, along with a 4GB or 6GB of RAM, BGR has learned.

Also, the operating system of Nokia Z2 Plus is Android 6.0.1 along with the processor Qualcomm ARMv8. The processor ID of Nokia Z2 Plus is ARM implementer 81 architecture 8 variant 1 part 517 revision 2, and the motherboard is dubbed as msm8996. The Nokia Z2 Plus appears to be one of the two higher-end handsets the company will push out to the market.

Furthermore, Nokia in partnership with HMD is said to roll out their version of Android smartphones with SnapDragon 835. Two Nokia devices that are said to be in the works are the Nokia P and the Nokia D1C which is expected to be a flagship handset. The Nokia smartphones are slated to be available in the first quarter of 2017.
