Super Saturday happens on Dec. 17, the last Saturday before Christmas, which falls on a Saturday for this year, ushering in the best tech deals on smartphones, video games, computers, and more. Like last year, retailers are saying that the Super Saturday deals may surpass Black Friday deals as more people are motivated to shop now in a rush to complete their Christmas shopping list.

What are the best tech deals on Super Saturday 2016. Below are the participating stores that offer huge discounts on various items as compiled by Fortune.

Super Saturday Smartphone Deals

Verizon is offering a trade-in of any eligible device to a free iPhone 7, LG V20, Google Pixel and the Samsung Galaxy S7, with a two-year installment package. Best Buy is also having two kinds of iPhone deals where the first one offers consumers a $250 dollars gift card when buying an iPhone or trading-in an older iPhone like the iPhone 6.

The other deal offers a $300 dollars gift card when consumers buy two iPhone 6, iPhone 6 Plus, or iPhone SE devices. For those buying an LG G5 or the LGV20 mobile phone, they get a free LG TV.

Meanwhile, Target also offers a $100 dollars gift card to those purchasing an iphone 7 or iPhone 7 Plus. The store has a better Samsung deal for Super Saturday 2016 with a $200 dollars gift card to those buying the Samsung Galaxy S7 or S7 Edge.

Meanwhile, Walmart is putting the Xbox One S "Gears of War 4" Limited Edition console from $450 dollars down to $399.

This year's Super Saturday 2016 may yet surpass the best tech deals of Black Friday, which market consumer analysts say is due to two vital factors. One is that people are more motivated to shop for the holidays and the other, most stores are eager to dispose of their inventories before the lean months begin on January and February according to Philly.com.
