Sci-fi fans all around are excited for the upcoming 2017 "Blade Runner 2049" film. Most of these fans would revere the first installment of the franchise as one of the best science fiction movies made. As such, these same fans are keen on every announcement relating to the sequel. That being said, it was reported that one of the cast members of the film revealed a fight scene for the movie. Moreover, fans will be able to get a glimpse of the highly-anticipated sequel as it was confirmed that the trailer will be released alongside the screening of "Passengers."

It was previously reported that one of the cast members of "Blade Runner 2049" revealed some minor details about certain scenes that were shot for many months, Collider learned. It was also mentioned therein that Harrison Ford might be taking on a supporting role for the upcoming sequel.

As such, it was stated by the source that cast member Ryan Gosling, part of an impressive ensemble for "Blade Runner 2049," revealed in an interview that he had a fight scene with the acclaimed actor Harrison Ford.

Moreover, Gosling said that Ford did punch him in the face while filming the scene for "Blade Runner 2049." The cast member said it was kind of a rite of passage. It was taken lightheartedly though, since both of the actors found the moment to be funny with Ford dishing out his own dry sense of humor in it.

In other news, it was reported that fans will be able to get a glimpse of the upcoming "Blade Runner 2049" as the trailer was confirmed to be released sometime soon, Trailer-track noted. It was mentioned therein that the trailer for the film will be played theatrically during the screening of "Passengers."

Fans can expect the movie "Blade Runner 2049" to hit theaters in October of 2017.
